Napa Valley's First and Perhaps Best Sangiovese
Under-the-radar, small family owned and operated winery.
Villa Ragazzi is Napa Valley's only Sangiovese specialist.
The Rodeno family annually bottles 100 +/- cases of "perhaps/possibly/probably/likely/may well be the best Sangiovese from California/Napa Valley/USA" (seriously, read the reviews), half that of a fine super-Tuscan blend named Faraona, and small amounts of tangy, dry Rosato di Sangiovese from our green-certified, fish-friendly vineyard. We've been growing our unique clone of Sangiovese here since 1985, the first planted in Napa Valley.
Join us in Tuscany?
A small group of friends of Villa Ragazzi is traveling to Tuscany this September to have fun with us, drink great wines, learn how to make pici pasta, enjoy exclusive winery visits, make side trips outside our home base in Montepulciano, and more...
If you're interested in joining us and have questions, please contact email@example.com.
Originally planned for summer 2020, our trip has been postponed to
May 2021 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Ray Lavelle of Wine, Women & Shoes says "Michaela and Gregory make some of the finest Sangiovese you will ever taste. They invite you into their home, in the vineyard, to talk wine, wine-making, etc. Michaela was one of the female pioneers who broke through the glass ceiling of the male-dominated wine industry and is a published author. I’m sure she has a few tales to tell, if you but ask."
