I should mention that it's sunny, breezy, and 79 degrees today, so naturally our thoughts turn first to the 2014 Rosato di Sangiovese. Crisp, bone dry, pretty to behold, and such pleasure to drink. Put charcoal on your shopping list.
We decided not to make a 2011 vintage, a lucky decision as the year subsequently proved challenging to many winemakers. The why is a long story, and if you come to visit we'll tell you all about it over a glass of Rosato.
Skipping straight to 2012, already being acclaimed as another in a string of very fine vintages in Napa Valley (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014), we are delighted to release our 2012 Sangiovese, as always 100% varietal. We even moved the name to the front label for your convenience.
Please feel free to share the news with any Sangiovese fans in your circles, because we'd like to meet them too.
